Your personal information and profile
We require all users who wish to evaluate their dogs to create a profile. This profile contains only your name and email address, with the exception of specific behavioral studies that may ask for additional demographic information (such as the country in which you live). When completing your profile, you can choose whether you'd like to be contacted by email for participation in future studies. We otherwise do not contact our users with marketing, advertisement, or informational emails.
Your personal information is kept confidential and is not shared with any institution or third-party vendor without your explicit consent. Study participants, or those referred to this website by their veterinarian, guide dog school, working dog group, breeder, or behavioral specialist may have their name and their dog's evaluations shared with approved admininstators of those groups strictly for data collection and analysis of their dog populations.
Passwords for all of our profiles are encrypted in our database and cannot be viewed or decrypted by our staff or other administrators of our website. All pages on our website are served up from, and all data transmitted to, a secured server (indicated by the "https" prefix and lock icon in your web browser's address bar) maintained by the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.
If you wish, you may request at any time to have your profile and all associated information permanently deleted from our database by filling out our contact form.
